Collegium Vini was established in 2002. We are a wine school, which spreads the knowledge of wine and its culture in Poland. We organise wine tasting sessions, meetings and presentations with wine-makers (Luis Pato
, Santi Planeta
), and eno-tourist visits
We work in close cooperation with embassies and enology organizations.
Collegium Vini is not a wine seller. We are not associated with any company which sells wine.
WINE TRAINING PROGRAMS
During 2002-2008 we organised more then 130 trainings programs, mostly in Warsaw and Cracow, and recently have started in Wroclaw.
Basic training (eno1
) for amateur wine lovers is concentrated on tasting and wine recognition. During the two day program they taste 25 wines.
Advanced training programs (eno2 i eno3
) concentrate on specific subjects. Eno2 concentrates on wine regions (i.e. North France
) and classification of wines (Sauvignon Blanc
, etc.). Eno3 are about specific vintages, occurrences, and appellations (for example, Porto Vinatge 1955-2003
, Bordeaux 1986-1998
). During the one day eno2 and eno3 programs wine lovers taste about 20 wines.
All training program groups consist of no more than 14 people. They are in the form of lectures combined with wine tasting and discussions. Wine choice is based on the lecturer’s interests, experience, the budget, as well as the available vintage.
